Graduated from the University of South Florida with a Masters in Clinical Social Work in 2012. I am a co-owner of New Day MHC.
I began working in private practice in 2018. I truly love what I do and enjoy the process of psychotherapy and transformation in general. I believe in continuing to work on ourselves even when there may not be "problems" or a need for counseling. Never ending growth helps us evolve through the stages of life more smoothly. That is why my therapeutic style involves interaction, conversation, questions and providing tools and psycho-education that my clients can incorporate into their lives forever.
I enjoy working with teens and adults and help clients develop a variety of skills (my favorite being self- compassion). I am an EMDR trained psychotherapist but use a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of each client. I am also trained in the Gottman Method which is a research based intervention used in couples work.
The flexibility that you have in a private-pay, private practice setting allows you to tailor fit each session to best suit your client on an individual basis. This is an invaluable resources to us both. At this time, I am self-pay only (no Insurance) but offer a sliding scale fee on a case by case basis.

In life, we all reach moments when we realize we could benefit from support and practical tools to navigate our obstacles and stressors. Therapy can be a powerful resource for those seeking greater peace in their daily lives.
I have been practicing in the field since 2012, working with children, adolescents, and adults to address a variety of mental health disorders, including trauma, depression, and anxiety. I also help clients improve their self-esteem, navigate life transitions, and manage daily stressors and anger.
As a member of a first responder family, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and stressors that first responders face. I enjoy working with first responders and their families, providing specialized support for the mental health needs specific to those who serve our communities.
My approach is collaborative—I work closely with each client to develop the most effective treatment plan for their unique needs. I believe that understanding the connections between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors is both empowering and transformative.
